Overall Goal
Objectives
1-To provide emergency shelter materials to 1,500 households.
2-To mitigate the impact of displacement and flooding on affected populations by ensuring access to safe
shelter solutions.
3-To enhance community capacity for response and resilience to future emergencies.
Key activities
ARC conducted introductory meetings and established project committees, identified beneficiaries, and shared
the scope and objectives of the initiative.
Beneficiaries registered and verified based on vulnerability criteria.
Additionally, 1,500 ES kits had successfully distributed, and 75 demonstration shelters constructed to support
training on shelter construction.
To ensure long-term usability of materials, the project provided training on fire and termite prevention,
involving local experts.
Throughout the process, the project prioritized vulnerable groups, such as female-headed households, the
elderly, and persons with disabilities, ensuring equitable access and support.
This comprehensive approach is expected to significantly improve living conditions and resilience for the
affected communities.
